Retail and Technology keeps track of the retail sales of durable goods, like household appliances, power tools, minitools, consumer electronics, and photo products, engine oils, paints.The research surveys the number of the pieces on stock, bought and sold as well as the prices. The fieldwork is repeated every month on a representative shop sample on the whole territory of Hungary and within all relevant chains and stores.

The panel survey keeps track of the market of the above goods as well as the changes in the sales volume and market share. The data are available broken down into the level of models as well as by brand and product groups.

The results of the survey provide information about the supply of products in the retail trade and the availability of the different brands and products. This distribution index is an important criterion in terms of the market presence of the brands and the marketing activity. Additionally, the panel survey is also suitable for checking the retail prices observing and enhancing of the long-term trends.
